Q-Tie® har öppet låshuvud, men ändå samma storlek och styrka som konventionella buntband!
Det öppna låshuvudet sviktar inte isär vid belastning, tack vare två låsklackar på huvudets insida. Dessa låsklackar passar med mycket hög precision in i två längsgående spår på bandets långsidor. Efterhand som bandet dras åt, trycks låsklackarna hårdare ner i spåren och håller allt effektivare ihop huvudet. Samtidigt låses bandet i position genom att huvudets spärrhake låser fast i de tvärgående räfflorna på bandets undersida.
