Splicing connector for 1 or 2 tap wires from a run through cable. The run through cable is connected with Insulation Displacement Connection (IDC).
A quick connection can made on mid-span of a wire without cutting and stripping. A good solution when space is limited or if the cable is so short it could be difficult to connect to connector again after cut and stripped.
Tap wires are connected with lever.
Transparent cover for easy inspection of connector. No tool needed. Solid conductors can be connected when closed.
