The HPM 400_DEMO is a hand-pumped hydraulic crimping tool that offers the well established advantages of the dieless Novopress indent crimp. The HPM 400_DEMO crimps with V-crimp, as other Novopress crimping tools. The tool crimps until the “right” back pressure is reached, it means that Novopress with its V-crimp has an automatic over-crimp function that crimps a little extra in the cases where the cable’s physical area is no longer standard (because the area today is now determined by conductivity and not by physical area). Without any die change you crimp a various make of lugs or sleeves in CU from 16 to 400 mm² and Al from 50 to 400 mm².
