HPM 400_DEMO

The HPM 400_DEMO is a hand-pumped hydraulic crimping tool that offers the well established advantages of the dieless Novopress indent crimp. The HPM 400_DEMO crimps with V-crimp, as other Novopress crimping tools. The tool crimps until the “right” back pressure is reached, it means that Novopress with its V-crimp has an automatic over-crimp function that crimps a little extra in the cases where the cable’s physical area is no longer standard (because the area today is now determined by conductivity and not by physical area). Without any die change you crimp a various make of lugs or sleeves in CU from 16 to 400 mm² and Al from 50 to 400 mm². Properties: - Weight 5.9 kg - Length 550 mm - 12 ton crimp force (120 kN) - The 90° rotatable crimping head allows convenient crimping even in restricted working space - Piston return is controlled manually and do not need to go back to its end position, which reduces crimp time. - No set-up times for changes of dies, and no expensive investment costs for crimping dies of different sizes. Less to carry and less to loose HPM 400 meets the standards of IEC 61238-1 och SEN 24 50 10/12. As a complement the HPM 400_DEMO can be equipped with pre-forming dies, C-sleeve dies, hexagon dies and cutting knife. HPM 400 uses the same accessories as HPA 400 / HPH 400.
